Plant Care

 

General Plant Care- Use 8.5 – 9.0 to extend the life and restore health to your indoor and outdoor houseplants. Please note that flowering plants, trees, and shrubs (such as roses and blueberries) favor an acidic environment. For the these plants, spray the stem with one part 8.5 pH and three parts filtered water.

 

Germinate Seeds- Use 9.5 Kangen Water or LivingWater to germinate seeds. Alkaline Water stimulates germination and improves seed development.

 

Cut Flowers- Pour 8.5 to 9.0 pH Kangen Water or LivingWater into a vase to extend the life of cut flowers.

Food Preparation

 

Sprouting- When preparing nuts, grains, seeds, or legumes, soak and rinse in Alkaline Water to encourage faster sprouting.

 

Blanching- Blanch spinach, green beans, and other vegetables in LivingWater or Kangen Water. The Alkaline Water will preserve the vibrant green color that often fades during this process. It’s great for canning!

Cooking

 

Enhance Soups and Sauces- Using Alkaline Water when preparing soup draws the flavor out of stocks and seasoning. Allows you to reduce amount of salt and seasoning in your recipe. Just as in soups, Alkaline Water reduces sodium intake and saves money by removing ⅓ to ¼ of other flavoring sauces such as soy and teriyaki.

 

Pre-boil Vegetables- Vegetables such as broccoli, onions, and bamboo shoots should be boiled in Kangen Water or LivingWater before adding them to your recipe. The Alkaline Water will enhance the flavor by dissolving and extracting the natural flavors in the ingredients.

 

Tenderize Meat- Soak in Alkaline Water for 20-30 minutes to tenderize meats.

Make Ice Cubes- Make ice cubes with LivingWater or Kangen Water and add to drinks to improve flavor and reduce acidity.
